The agency is a merger of NILLES Rejser and Gislev Rejser, providing nearly 160 years of combined experience in organizing travel by bus, plane, train, and ship in Denmark, the Nordic countries, Europe, and the rest of the world.

Travel also contributes to economic development and nature conservation around the world. But there is also another side to that story: The negative impacts of travel on the climate, the environment and local communities. We acknowledge this. And we are actively working to reduce our negative impact.
What do we do?
• We cannot eliminate flights from our trips, so instead we choose to focus on everything we can influence – at our home office at home and on the ground at the destinations.
• Our primary areas of focus are decent working conditions, human rights, respect for local cultures, protection of the environment and biodiversity, as well as animal welfare.
• We collaborate with Travelife, an international certification program for tour operators, that independently ensures and verifies that we are working purposefully with sustainability.
• We are currently a Travelife Partner, the key milestone before full certification. To earn this recognition, we have met over 100 sustainability criteria. You can read more about the criteria here.
